EAGLE MINISTRIES was formed in 1993 and is Charity Number 1017740.

Our aims and objectives are to promote the Christian Faith not only in word by teaching Christian principles, but also in action by  being prepared to bring relief to people in need, hardship or stress including those who are aged or sick, as applicable.

Eagle Ministries is a non-profit making organisation working on its own initiative or with local churches.  We have been involved in events such as Family Fun Days, Football Tournaments, Walks, Car Rallies, Coffee Bar Outreach and other activities involving social skills with Christian based principles.

Eagle Ministries is also dedicated to  Evangelism and Teaching, giving support at Gospel Tent Missions and running  the Alpha Course, providing teaching on Prayer Ministry, Stewardship, Marriage Matters etc., as well as running home groups dealing with day to day issues relating to well being, stress, budgeting, everyday life – all based on Biblical ethics and doctrines.

We also use the internet as a tool to reach those needing help and encouragement through this website and also www.walkingtorome.eu

The aim of Eagle Ministries is to see people begin a relationship With Jesus Christ through salvation,  to learn about Him and what He expects from His followers, then to apply that knowledge to  ‘life’  and go and tell others, by example and encouragement.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in one God, who has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that all people who break God’s laws, either accidentally or on purpose are sinners. 

We don’t have the right to go to heaven, however, we believe in some fantastic Good News:  that God loves this world and all the people in it without exception. So much so that He sent His Son Jesus to deal with the problem of sin. This means that anyone at all who believes in Him and repents – that is turns away from their sin and walks the opposite way - can have life which will not be ended even by physical death.   In other words, what we could never earn, God gives us, if we will only trust in Jesus; and that is - heaven, no less.

We believe that God sends His Holy Spirit to live right inside those who take this step and He then helps us to become more like Jesus and to serve Him in whatever ways He asks of us.

We believe that church is God’s idea and not an outmoded thing and is there to help and encourage everyone to become a Christian, and to give support through “all the changing scenes of life”,

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that the Bible - the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, the infallible dependable rule for faith and life.

We believe in one God who is the Eternal “I AM”, who has made Himself known to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the virgin birth, the sinless life and miraculous ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in His substitutionary atoning death on our behalf, and His bodily resurrection on the third day.

We believe He ascended to heaven and  is now seated at the right hand of The Father where He makes intercession for those who trust Him, and one day He will return to earth to take all those who believe in Him to heaven.

We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression.

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His atoning blood we have Redemption.

This experience is also known as the new birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit upon a persons’ initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an empowering for service, the essential, biblical evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today this includes deliverance from sickness by divine healing.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, that all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ will be with Him throughout all eternity – but - everlasting conscious punishment in hell will be the state of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life- those who have not received the salvation He offers.
